Editing a Disposal Action

You can edit the details of disposal action, for example to change the name of the message area, or to change the expiry period for messages held in that area.

To edit a disposal action:

From the Policy Center Home page, click Disposal Actions. The Manage Disposal Actions page appears.
- Select the Message Areas tab to display the Message Area disposal actions.
- Select the Relay Servers tab to display Route to SMTP server disposal actions.
Select the disposal action you wish to edit and click Edit.
If you selected a Message Areas disposal action, the Edit Message Area dialog appears:
- Specify a name for the message area and an expiry period after which Clearswift ARgon for Email is to delete a held message.
- If you have configured a release schedule for the message area, select the Release Schedule tab, and edit the release schedule values.

- See Notifying Auditor on Release for information about configuring the notification of an auditor when a message is released.
If you selected a Route to SMTP server disposal action:
- Edit the server name, port number and the alias.
- Select either Relay Modified or Relay Original.
Click Update to update the details of the disposal action.

When you have finished modifying your content security policy you must apply the configuration for any changes to take effect. If the ARgon Servers are configured as a group, any group changes should be applied to each ARgon Server.
