Report Center

The Report Center enables you to generate ARgon Server management reports. These reports display information which helps you analyze the activity of the Clearswift ARgon for Email, detect violation patterns and monitor your security policy.

You can configure and modify reports, creating customized versions which display the data you require. Additionally, you can automate a scheduled report which is emailed or archived at regular intervals.

• The Report Center Home Page

  From the Home page, click Reports. The Report Center Home page is displayed.

  The Report Center Home page provides options for generating and configuring Clearswift ARgon for Email reports. You can search a list of available reports and select the report you want to run. Report details are displayed in the panel to the right. You can also use the Task Pane to configure Report Data Settings.

• What reports are available?

  A list of available reports is provided on the Report Center Home page. There are two types of report:

  System report

  Customized report

  Reports are listed by category. To show or hide the reports for a particular category, click the or icons adjacent to the category heading. Show me the available reports

  Category	System reports available
  Remediation	Redaction and sanitization summaries.
  Top Addresses	Top senders and recipients (internal and external).
  Violations	Violations of the redaction and sanitization policy.
  Domains	Top sending domains for inbound messages, top recipient domains for outbound messages.
  General Processing	Inbound and outbound message rates, message processing rates.
  Processing Lag	Average message processing lag per day.
  Attachments	Attachments by type and size.
  Held	Held messages.
  Actions	Messages processed per message action.
  Content Rules	Messages processed per content rule.
  Address Routes	Messages processed per address route.
  Decryption	Messages decrypted and decryption methods.
  Encryption	Messages encrypted, methods, top senders and recipients of encrypted messages, top domains requiring encryption.
  Administrator Message Activity (count)	Count of message actions performed by administrators. You can view up to 5,000 messages per peered Gateway.
  Administrator Message Activity By Admin	Detail of message actions performed by administrators. You can view the interactions with up to 5,000 messages per peered Gateway.

  You can drill down on an Administrator Message Activity report to view events:

  Short Code	Action
  Del	Delete the message
  Expy	Set Expiry date
  Fwd	Forward the message
  Ndr	Non-deliver the message
  Rep	Reprocess the message
  Vmsg	View the message
  Vbdy	View the message body
  Vraw	View the raw message
  Down	Download an attachment from the message

  Select a report and click View (or double-click the report name) to run the report.

• Configuring report data settings

  The Task Pane on the Report Center Home Page displays an option, Tracking and Report Settings. This enables you to configure the way the Clearswift ARgon for Email records and stores data.
