You configure Information Governance Server by using the options under the System toolbar option. The following options are available:

Configure directory server settings for log on and user management. Configure mail server settings to be used by your IGS for email notifications. |
Maintenance |
Enable diagnostic and remote logging for IGS troubleshooting. Configure time for IGS maintenance. |
Security |
Add Gateway servers that will communicate with your IGS. Add hosts that can access your IGS using SSH. Configure IGS for IGS Client Application access. |
As part of your IGS configuration, you have to supply directory server account credentials. It is possible to lock all users out of the IGS Administrator user interface if the account expires or there is a password change. What can I do? You should create a service account for this purpose and set password expiry to disabled. |
