Specifying Hosted Domains
You need to specify to Clearswift Gateway the list of email domains used by your company. Clearswift Gateway uses this list when determining whether to accept incoming email
messages. To be accepted, a message must contain a "To" address
with a domain listed in the hosted domains list.
To add a hosted domain to the list:
- From
the System Center Home page, click
SMTP Settings. The SMTP Settings
page appears.
- Select Mail
Domains and Routing to display the Mail Domains and Routing page.
- Click the Hosted
Domains tab. The Hosted Domains area shows the current list of hosted domains.
- Click
New. The New Hosted Domain
dialog appears.
- In Domain
in the Add Hosted Domains dialog, type a fully qualified domain name.
- Click Add
to add the name to the list.

If you are configuring mail domains for a Domain Controller, you should add your hosted domains to this list and add a Domain Controller using the PMM Authenticaion Settings page. |
To edit a hosted domain entry:
- From
the System Center Home page, click
SMTP Settings. The SMTP Settings
page appears.
- Select Mail
Domains and Routing to display the Mail Domains and Routing page.
- Click the Hosted
Domains tab.
The Hosted Domains area contains the hosted domains list.
- Select the entry you wish
to edit in the Hosted Domains area
and click
Edit. The Edit Hosted
Domains dialog appears.
- In Domain
in the Edit Hosted Domain dialog, modify the domain's fully qualified
domain name.
- Click Update
to incorporate the change in the list.
