URL Lists

URL Lists are lists of specific URLs which are referenced by content rules in the Clearswift SECURE Email Gateway

There are three types of URL List:

• Real-time Malicious URL List: an online source of known malicious URLs. The Gateway checks the reputation of URLs against this constantly-updated database of reputations. You cannot view or edit this list, and it is not suitable for use in an offline environment.
• Custom URL List: a defined list of URLs you can update.
• Suspicious URL List: heuristic-based rules which identify URLs that have been deliberately created in order to avoid detection. You can configure how the Gateway applies these, using a number of rules.
