When configuring their DMARC settings, domain owners add policies to their domain’s DMARC record in the DNS. These policies advise message recipients what to do if a message fails authentication: either accept, quarantine, or reject the message. The

Reject message
Reject message is the default option for DMARC Reject. |

Hold in area: Holds messages in the area that you specify in the Hold Spam in this Message Area section. See step 4 in Configuring Spam Policy for more information on specifying message area.
