Defining the PMM Portal Format

You can modify the look of the branding, including providing a corporate logo:

• The Tab Background, Normal and Selected Text at the top of the portal
• A corporate logo to display at the top of the portal or digest

To change the Corporate Logo:

You can change the corporate logo displayed in the top left corner of the portal or digest. A replacement image must be in one of the following formats and the image size must not exceed 1 MB:

• Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG)
• Graphics Interchange Format (GIF)
• Portable Network Graphics (PNG)
• Windows Bitmap (BMP)

To change the Corporate Logo:

1. From the System Center Home page, click PMM Settings.
2. Click Branding to display the PMM Branding page.
3. Move the mouse pointer over the Corporate Logo area and click Click here to change these settings.
4. Click Browse... and browse to the location of a suitable corporate logo image. You can use a .gif, .jpg, .png or .bmp image for this purpose. The image file must not exceed 1Mb. The ideal relative dimensions for the image are approximately 10 units wide by 6.8 high, although the Gateway scales any image to fit the available area.
5. Click Save. The image is shown as it will appear in the message digest.

To change the Portal Colors:

You can change the Tab Background, Normal and Selected Text at the top of the portal:

1. Move the mouse pointer over the Portal Colors area and click Click here to change these settings .
2. Click the checkbox next to The color scheme will be modified to use the following colors.
3. Type a Hex color value (RGB) for Tab Background, Tab Text (Selected) and Tab Text (Normal). In the next step the Gateway shows a preview of the colors as they will appear in the portal.
4. Click Save. The colors are shown as they will appear in the portal.
