Enabling Message Areas for PMM Access
When you have defined your PMM digest format, set up PMM access controls, and configured
the PMM service settings, you are
ready to specify which message areas
your users will be able to manage.
To enable a message area for PMM:
- From
the Policy Center Home page, click
Disposal Actions. The Manage Disposal Actions page appears,
listing the currently defined disposal actions.
- Select a disposal action
that uses a message area you wish to make available for PMM.
- Click the Edit
button adjacent to the "n
Items" heading. The Edit Disposal Action dialog appears.
- Select the Enable
for PMM check box. The dialog now lists your current Address Lists.
- Select one or more Address Lists to specify the users who will be able to delete or release messages
from this message area.
- Click Update
to update the details of the disposal action.
