Diagnostic Tools
Diagnostic tools enable you
to test the connection between the Gateway and network components. This
can be useful when isolating and resolving system problems. The Clearswift Gateway includes the following diagnostic tools:
- Ping
a Host generates a ping command to test connectivity to a network
component or an IP address.
- Query
DNS Records allows you to enter domain details and test whether
the configured DNS servers can find it.
- Traceroute
to host enables you to trace the route that messages take
from the Gateway to a named host. It returns details for each hop on
the route.
- Connectivity Tests tests
the connections to system components.
