Querying DNS Records
The Query
DNS records option enables you to query DNS records,
such as the MX record for a mail server that does not appear to be accepting
messages.
To query DNS records:
- On
the System Center Home
page, select Query DNS records from
the task panel. The Query
DNS Records dialog appears.
- Complete the dialog fields:
- Type:
A DNS record type to search for. Select a type from the list.
- Address:
The host or domain name (such as a-differentcompany.com)
for which you wish to get DNS information.
- Click Query.
