Configuring Message Settings
You can specify whether or not received
headers will be stripped from outbound messages as the message is received
by the Gateway. 'Received' headers contain information about your internal
mail network such as IP addresses and machine names that you may not wish
to expose.
To configure message settings
- From
the System Center Home page, click
SMTP Settings. The SMTP Settings
page appears.
- Click Advanced
Settings to display the Advanced Settings page.
- Move the mouse pointer
over the Message Settings area and
click .
- Select or clear the Received Headers check box to indicate
whether or not to strip 'Received' headers from outbound messages.
- Select the Maximum message size check box and enter a size to specify a maximum message size.
- Click Save.

If you change any configuration settings you must apply the new configuration for the
new settings to take effect. If the Gateways are configured as a group, any group
changes should be applied to each Gateway. |
