DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIMDomainKeys Identified Mail) verification enables you to reject or hold inbound messages that fail DKIM checks. You can specify different actions, depending on whether a Hard
failure or Soft failure occurs. See DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) for more information.
In the DKIM Hard Fail box, select one of:
Hold in area: Holds messages in the area that you specify in the Hold Spam in this Message Area section. See step 4 in Configuring Spam Policy for more information on specifying message area.
Hold in area is the default option for a DKIM Hard Fail. |
As DKIM TXT records are often incorrectly configured in the DNS, we recommend that you initially hold any DKIM Hard Fail messages and review them, rather than immediately rejecting them. |
