Managing RBL Servers

You can add, modify, or delete other RBL (real-time blocklist) servers as required.

See About Real-time IP Blocklists for more information about RBLs.

Changing these settings without good reason can adversely affect spam detection rates. You should normally only perform these actions on the advice of your normal support provider.

We recommend using your own DNS servers for RBL spam detection, as a public DNS can also adversely affect detection rates.

To add, edit, or delete RBL servers:

  1. From the Policy Center Home page, click SpamLogic Settings. The SpamLogic Settings page appears.
  2. Click the Parameters tab.
  3. Move the pointer over the Real-time IP Blocklist Servers section and click Click here to change these settings.
  4. Add, edit, or remove RBL servers as required. You can specify up to five RBL servers.
  5. Click Save.
