Configuring spoof detection settings

This topic describes how you configure Spoof Detection to reject email from outside your organization that has a forged sender with an internal email address.

  1. On the Policy Center Home page, click SpamLogic Settings. The SpamLogic Settings page appears, displaying the Spam Policy tab.
  2. Move the pointer over the Spam Policy section, and click Click here to change these settings.
  3. In the Spoof Detection box, select one of:

To avoid messages from trusted sources being blocked by spoof detection, add them to a White List.

If the Gateways are configured as a group, any group changes should be applied to each Gateway. When you have finished modifying your content security policy you must apply the configuration for any changes to take effect.

References to Mail policy content will only be available when a Clearswift SECURE Email Gateway is added to the peer group.
