Configuring Alert Settings

If you configure the Policy Engine Alert Settings, Clearswift Gateway sends an email alert message to the specified recipient when it performs a Configuring Alert Settings in a content rule.

You can set parameters that determine the sender, recipient and subject of the email alert message.

To configure Alert Settings:

  1. From the System Center Home page, click System Settings. The System Settings page appears.
  2. Click Policy Engine Settings to display the Policy Engine Settings page.
  3. Move the mouse pointer over the Alert Settings area and click Click here to change these settings.
  4. Specify the sender, recipient and subject line for email alert messages. Note that you may only specify one recipient.
  5. Click Save.
  If you change any configuration settings you must apply the new configuration for the new settings to take effect. If the Gateways are configured as a group, any group changes should be applied to each Gateway.
