Apply a Content Rule to a Policy Route

You must apply a content rule to the relevant policy routes in your security policy. Content rules can only operate when applied to a policy route.

To apply a content rule to a policy route:

  1. Click Policy > Mail Policy Routes (Email) or Web Policy Routes (Web).
  2. Select the policy route you require.
  3. Click Edit. The Modify Policy Route page is displayed.
  4. In the Unless One Of These Content Rules Triggers section, click New.
  5. Select the content rule(s) you require. Each rule is added to the route when you select it from the list.
  6. Click Close.

      Select a content rule and use the and buttons to change the priority of the selected rule. Content rules are applied in priority order.
  7. Apply the configuration.
