Enabling message areas for PMM access

When you have defined your PMM digest format, set up PMM access controls, and configured the PMM service settings, you are ready to specify which message areas your users will be able to manage.

To enable a message area for PMM:

  1. From the Policy Center Home page, click Disposal Actions. The Manage Disposal Actions page appears, listing the currently defined disposal actions.
  2. Select a disposal action that uses a message area you wish to make available for PMM.
  3. Click the Edit button adjacent to the "n Items" heading. The Edit Disposal Action dialog appears.
  4. Select the Enable for PMM check box. The dialog now lists your current Address Lists.
  5. Select one or more Address Lists to specify the users who will be able to delete or release messages from this message area.
  6. Click Update to update the details of the disposal action.
