What's new in 4.10.0?

The following new features and enhancements are contained in the 4.10.0 version of the Gateway. This includes updates since the release of version 4.9.0.

High Efficiency Image File format support

The Gateway can now detect High Efficiency Image File formats (HEIF and HEIC), such as those captured by iOS devices. When adding a detectable media type, you can now select HEIF - High Efficiency Image File format from the available types. This option includes HEIF and HEIC files.

Sophos anti-virus upgrade

Sophos has been upgraded to version 2.6. You will not be required to make any specific change to benefit from this upgrade.

Kaspersky anti-virus upgrade

Kaspersky has been upgraded to version 8.8. If you do not work in an offline environment and have a reliable Internet connection, you should not need to do anything further after this update. If you do work in an offline environment, refer to the instructions in Upgrading Kaspersky for more information.
