The Detect Malformed Data content rule enables you to handle transactions that might include malformed data. For example, you might want to block any downloads identified as containing 'malformed data'.
The Detect Malformed Data content rule operates on selected Media Types. You can exclude or include certain types (such as PDF) using a combination of Detect Malformed Data content rules. |
A Detect Malformed Data content rule is included by default in the starter policy.
Example: you want to use the content rule to block any media which contains malformed data, other than PDF documents.
Malformed data is a potential threat to your organization. |
Create, or edit an existing Detect Malformed Data content rule on the policy route.
In the What to Look For? section, use the Which Media Types area to select:
Exclude selected media types
PDFs will be processed according to the action specified for each policy route that contains this rule.
