Modifying a Filename List
You can edit an existing Filename List to change its details.
To modify a Filename List:
- From the Policy Center Home page, click Filenames. The Manage Filename Lists page appears.
- Select the Filename List
you wish to modify and click
Edit. The Modify Filename List page appears.
- The Overview area enables you to provide a name and optional notes for the Filename List. To edit these details:
- Move the mouse pointer over the Overview area and click Click here to change these settings.
- Edit the Name if required. Clearswift Gateway provides a default name. Change this to something more meaningful, if required.
- Edit the Notes if required. You can insert, change, or delete text in this field, which is empty by default.
- Click Save.
- The Filenames area defines the list of filenames to search on. To add filenames to the list:
- Move the mouse pointer
over the Filenames area and click
New.
The Add Filename dialog appears. - In Filename, specify a filename to search
for. You can construct a filename mask using
these
wildcard characters. - Click Add to add the filename to the list.
- The filename you defined is listed in the Filenames panel.
- To edit or remove a filename
in the list, move the mouse pointer over the Filenames area and select
the filename you wish to edit, then click
Edit
or
Delete as required.
