Creating a Block Page

References to Email policy content are only available when an Email Gateway is included in the peer group.

You create Block Pages to display when the Gateway blocks a connection. A block page can contain formatted text, and an image.

To create a Block Page:

  1. From the Policy References area on the Policy Center Home page, click End User & Block Pages.
  2. Click the Block Pages tab. The Manage End User & Block Pages page appears, listing any existing Block Pages that have been defined.
  3. Click New.
  4. The Overview area enables you to provide a name and optional notes for the Block Page. To edit the Overview information:
  1. The Titles & Content area allows you to set the title and any content that you want the page to include:
  1. The Image area allows you to add an image to your block page. The image is displayed on the left of the page. Images must be no larger than 1 MB. To add an image to the Block Page:

  • To see a preview of the Block Page, click Preview the Block page in the task panel.
  • When you have finished modifying your content security policy you must apply the configuration for any changes to take effect. If the Gateways are configured as a group, any group changes should be applied to each Gateway.
  • You can include tokens in Block Pages. Clearswift Gateway replaces these with traffic properties, or responses made by the Policy Engine. For more information, see Using Tokens.
