Proxy Request Logging

You can enable your Gateway to log all requests and responses processed by the proxy. This includes requests and responses exchanged between the client and the proxy and between the proxy and the server. This is useful for analyzing any problems which might occur when accessing a particular URL.

Each request and response is recorded in detail in the Web Proxy Requests log file.

How do I...

• Configure Proxy Request Logging?

  1. From the Home Page, click Proxy Settings > Proxy Monitoring. The Proxy Monitoring page is displayed.
  2. Click on the Logging tab. In Proxy Request Logging panel the current status will be displayed.
  3. If you want to change the status, click Click here to change these settings and check/un-check Enable proxy request logging as required.
  4. Click Save.

  The Gateway records requests made on all supported protocols, including HTTP, HTTPS and FTP.
