Listening Port

The listening port is the port on which the Clearswift Gateway proxy server listens for incoming connections. The default value is port 8080.

To change the listening port:

1. From the Home page, click System > Proxy Settings > Listening Ports. The Listening Ports page is displayed.
2. In the Listening Port panel, click Click here to change these settings.
3. Enter the port number to use and click Save.

The system uses ports 8070 and 8090 for internal routing - you must choose a different listening port number.
