Peer Gateways

In installations that contain multiple Gateways, you can configure up to eight Gateways as peers in a group. You can control peers in the group from a local Gateway. The local Gateway is the Gateway on which you make changes to the configuration. In a deployment that uses Peer Gateways, any Gateway in the group can be used as the local Gateway.

You should only attempt to peer a Gateway operating at version 4.0 or above with an earlier Gateway if it is for the purpose of reporting. Configuration information can not be shared between Gateways in this configuration.
