The Manage Disposal Actions Page

References to Web policy content are only available when a Web Gateway is included in the peer group.

The Manage Disposal Actions page enables you to view and manage the disposal actions your Clearswift Gateway uses.

To display the Manage Disposal Actions page, select the Policy Center link at the top of any Clearswift Gateway web interface page. This displays the Policy Center Home page. Then click the Disposal Actions link in the Policy Reference section.

"Message Areas" Tab

Click the Message Areas tab to list the message area disposal actions that are currently defined. These disposal actions write messages to a message area. For these messages, you can:

Allow PMM access to the message area, so that users can control messages they contain.
Define a release schedule for the message area, for example to control that oversize messages are transmitted in off-peak times.

On the display, indicators in the columns indicate disposal action details:

In Use indicates that the disposal action is currently associated with at least one content rule or policy route.
System indicates that the disposal action is a System disposal action and cannot be deleted.
PMM indicates that the disposal action's message area is defined as allowing PMM access.
Release indicates that the disposal action is configured to release messages according to a timed schedule.

If you release a message, the Clearswift Gateway honors the primary and secondary "Deliver" disposal actions of the next triggered rule (or those of the route default) where applicable.

To view a list of content rules and policy routes that reference a disposal action, select the disposal action from the list.

To view the details of a referencing content rule or policy route, select the name of the rule or route.
