Policy Routes

Policy routes define which parts of your content security policy are applied by the Gateway. You can configure a policy route to apply to certain users and addresses, and control the flow of information between 'endpoints' on the route.

• Mail Policy Routes

  On an Email Gateway, each Mail Policy Route includes:

  • A route, consisting of From addresses and To addresses. These addresses are grouped in address lists.
  • A default decryption action for messages which match with the policy route.
  • A default delivery action for messages which match with the policy route.
  • A default disposal action for messages which match with the policy route.
  • Content rules to apply to messages which match with the policy route.
• Web Policy Routes

  Each Web Policy Route includes:

  • A route between two endpoints, for example, a machine list or user name list and an Internet zone.
  • A default action for traffic which matches the policy route
  • Content rules to apply to traffic which matches the policy route
