About Configuration Backup & Restore

Clearswift Gateway automatically saves previously applied configurations in the Configuration History. You can also:

Backup previously applied configurations by exporting them to disk.
Email a configuration to a specified email address.

Configuration Backup & Restore enables you to :

Restore a previously applied configuration from the Configuration History.
Upload a backed up configuration from disk.

To view the Configuration History:

From the Home page, click System > Backup & Restore.

Click the Configuration History tab. The tab displays details of previously applied configurations.

If more than 10 configurations have been applied, you can view older configurations by clicking Preceding Configurations at the bottom of the page.

Select a configuration from the list. The Configuration Details are displayed. If a log is available for the deployment, you can also view the configuration log in more detail.
