You can determine what policy route would be applied to a particular start and end email address to diagnose problems with your policy and verify that the policy works as expected.
To identify a mail policy route
- From the Policy Center Home page, click Mail Policy Routes. The page appears, listing the defined policy routes.
- Click Identify.
- Enter a
From and To email address. This must be a valid Address in a Static Address List or LDAP Synchronized Address List. The email address must be in the format username@domainname. Use ""@"" or ndr in the From field to identify the route to be followed by a non-delivery report which has no sender. You may use wildcards in addresses
according to the following rules:

Click Identify.
The matching policy route will be highlighted in blue and the number of the selected route will be displayed.
- Apply the configuration.
