The System Center
The System Center enables
you to configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot your Clearswift Gateway system.
From the System Center you
can:
- Power off or reboot
your Clearswift Gateway.
- Monitor the health
of the Clearswift Gateway
through a series of dynamic graphical displays and charts.
- View and cancel Clearswift Gateway Alarms.
- Examine the Clearswift Gateway logs.
- Manage
the Clearswift Gateway
services.Services are programs that
perform low-level functions to support other programs on the system.
- Configure Clearswift Gateway System settings.
- Test the connectivity
between the Gateway and system components that it uses.
- Set
up the Gateway to use PMM.
- Apply
the current Clearswift Gateway
configuration.If you make any
changes in the Policy Center, or changes to the System Settings (except time)
in the System Center, you must apply the new configuration to the
Clearswift Gateway
to make the changes take effect.
- Backup your system
to an external FTP server.
- Restore your system
from an external FTP server.
- View the history
of applied configurations, restore a previous configuration or archive
a configuration for diagnostic purposes.
- Install and manage
system software upgrades the
Clearswift Gateway
has downloaded from the Clearswift Update Server.
- Manage your Clearswift Gateway license.
To display the System Center Home page,
select the System Center tab on any Clearswift Gateway web interface page.
