Configuring TRUSTmanager Settings

Specify the actions to take, based on TRUSTmanager reputations, when you configure your spam policy.

To bypass spam checks for messages from SMTP hosts that have good reputations:

  1. On the Policy Center Home page, click SpamLogic Settings. The SpamLogic Settings page appears, displaying the Spam Policy tab.
  2. Move the pointer over the Spam Policy section, and click Click here to change these settings.
  3. In the If Reputation Good box, select Bypass spam checks.
  4. Click Save.

To specify the action TRUSTmanager takes on messages from SMTP hosts that have bad reputations:

  1. On the Policy Center Home page, click SpamLogic Settings. The SpamLogic Settings page appears, displaying the Spam Policy tab.
  2. Move the pointer over the Spam Policy section, and click Click here to change these settings.
  3. In the If Reputation Bad box, select one of:

  • To avoid messages from trusted sources being blocked, add them to a White List.
  • You can check the TRUSTmanager reputation of any IP address.
  • When you have finished modifying your content security policy you must apply the configuration for any changes to take effect. If the Gateways are configured as a group, any group changes should be applied to each Gateway.
