Informs

An Inform is an email message that your Clearswift Gateway sends as a notification if the What to Look For? conditions of a Content Rule are met. You can configure an Inform to be sent to:

• The recipients of a message
• The sender of the message
• The sender's manager
• The system administrator
• An email address you specify

Informs are added to content rules using the Generate an Inform action in the What to Do? section of the rule.

Use an inform to notify a sender or recipient of a message that the message has violated your corporate security policy. The inform can include data related to the processed message, such as text analysis information, or you can include the original message as an attachment.
